TAUNTON - James Correia, Jr., husband of Nadine L. (Burdick) Correia, died unexpectedly at his Taunton home on July 8, 2011.
He was 47.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of Marie (Greco) Correia and the late James P. Correia.
Raised and educated in Taunton, Mr. Correia was employed as a forklift operator by the former Princess House and the former Mars for many years before retiring due to disability.
He also worked as a sales representative for EDMG.
Before moving back to Taunton this past March, he had been residing in Old Orchard Beach, Maine and Biddeford, Maine, as well as Fall River, MA.
Besides his wife of Taunton and his mother of North Dighton, he leaves a son, Charles R. Burdick of Fall River; a daughter, Shannon L. Stevenson of Seekonk; two sisters, Charlene Ridley of North Dighton and Linda Kaeppel of Connecticut; three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services were private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton.
