James D. Miller, age 80 of Taunton, passed away on December 6, 2025 at his residence.

He was the beloved husband of the late Maria Fernanda (Ribeiro) Miller.

Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James and Christine (Queener) Miller.

Mr. Miller devoted 35 years of his career to Texas Instruments, where he served as a warehouse coordinator before retiring. James proudly served in the Air Force as a Sargent in dedication to his country. He was known for his extraordinary generosity and love, especially towards his wife, Maria, whom he adored deeply. Even after her passing, he kept her memory alive by upholding her traditions, demonstrating the profound respect and love he held for her throughout their life together. He cherished moments spent playing and laughing with his granddaughters, going for walks with his beloved grand pups, and savoring a steaming cup of cappuccino. He was passionate about exploring the world with a close-knit group of friends and had a special fondness for his cars. He often enjoyed dining at his favorite restaurants with his buddies, and he balanced it out by staying active at the YMCA. He loved hosting our family gatherings on Christmas Eve and took delight in spoiling his kids and granddaughters with thoughtful gifts.

James is survived by a son, Nicholas J. Miller and his wife Lisette of Raynham; a daughter, Danielle A. Dion and her husband Andrew of Bridgewater, proud grandfather of Rosalyn, Lucia, Viviana and Ava. He was the brother of Pamela White.
