James “Jimmy” William Wilson age 60, of Taunton passed away at Morton Hospital May 20 2025.
He was the husband of Lisa (Hollis) Wilson.
Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of the late Harvey W. Wilson Jr. and Wilma (Johnson) Wilson..
Besides his beloved wife Lisa of over 18 years, He is survived by brother William Wilson and Charlotte of Spokane Valley, WA, Sisters Patricia and Lynn Slaughter of Amarillo TX, Joanne and the late Richard Kellogg , Bonnie and Thomas Wilbur all of Raynham, and Terri and Paul Fortunato of Tewksbury. He was the brother of the late Margaret Wilson. He is also survived by his step-daughter Michelle Correia, step-son David Correia, and step-grandchildren Tristan, Devin, Lilianna, and Grayson. He will also be greatly missed by his cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a 1982 graduate of Taunton High school. James worked at various jobs throughout his life, and most recently as a driver for VHS Transportation. James was an avid Boston sports fan, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing horseshoes, attending concerts and spending time with his beloved dog Bella.
A grave-side service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 1pm in Saint Joseph Cemetery 475 East Britannia St, Taunton MA 02780. Relatives and friends may assemble at the main entrance of the cemetery at 12:30.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to the Taunton Animal Care Facility at 821 West Water St. Taunton MA 02780, in Jim's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
