CUMBERLAND, RI / RAYNHAM, MA - Jane M. (Ward) Paquette, wife of Dr. Robert G. Paquette of Cumberland, RI, died at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence, RI on Jan 1, 2014.
She was 76.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph G. and Frances M. (Louloudis) Ward.
Raised and educated in Boston, Mrs. Paquette was a 1955 graduate of Girls High School.
A Cumberland resident for the past three years, she had resided in Raynham since 1967.
Mrs. Paquette was a member of the Red Hats, the Middleboro YMCA, and My Brother's Keeper of Easton.
A former communicant of St. Ann Church in Raynham, she was active in the Catholic Cursillo Movement at the Stonehill Retreat House and LaSallette Shrine.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, Robert G. Paquette, II and his wife Marie of Charlton, MA; two daughters, Renee E. Murphy and her husband Donald C., II of Warwick, RI, and Amy C. Beauregard and her husband Edward A. of Cumberland, RI; a brother, Joseph G. Ward, II of The Villages, FL; two sisters, Anne Maynard and her husband Frederick of Prince Edward Island, and Clare Asmussen of Roslindale, MA; eight grandchildren, Zachary, Donald, Janel, Benjamin, Maddison, Erin, Renee and Samuel; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday, Jan. 8th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Ann Church, Raynham at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 7th, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Burial will take place at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Raynham at a later date.
