Jason Michael Irvin Mitchell, age 33 of Taunton, passed away on December 20, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Jason was born in Taunton, the son of Irvin Mitchell and Betty Dixon.
Mr. Mitchell was a 2004 graduate of Taunton High, a volunteer at Hole in the Wall Gang camp in Ashford, CT, Paul Newman Camp for disabled children, but most of all Jason was a kind and loving person.
Besides his beloved mother Betty and his father Irvin, Jason is survived by a brother Joel Dixon and a sister Yolanda Dixon. He was also leaves 3 nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 2 to 5 pm in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton. (Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.)
Jason’s funeral will be held on Monday, December 24 th at 7:45am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, followed by a graveside service at 9am in Mayflower Hill Cemetery Broadway in Taunton.
