Jayne E. Dyer

d. December 10, 2023

Jayne E. (Taylor) Dyer, age 68 of Taunton, passed away on December 10, 2023 at Morton Hospital.

Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marjorie (Lounsbury) Taylor.

Before retiring, she worked many places and was always a hard worker. She worked with her sisters and friends for Medeiros Catering for many years. She worked at FB Rogers in Taunton. She also spent time employed as an Accountant at Caron and Company and an Office Manager at Edron Business Systems. Jayne was also a private In-Home Care Giver for private families and for many families through Home Instead. Most of all, Jayne’s favorite job was her most recent position of working Security at Gillete Stadium Patriot games and concerts. She loved interacting with all the people and even got to meet her favorite player, Vince Wilfork.

Jayne enjoyed going to the beach, anytime, but mostly with her sisters, nieces, and anyone who would join them for Mermaid Mondays. She loved rooting for the Patriots, and yes, even this year. Jayne also loved strolling through the aisles of the Raynham Flea Market or neighborhood yard sale. She loved her music and sharing her love of music with her grandson, Cody. She also loved watching Survivor and Big Brother on TV and even got her son and grandson hooked on the shows. More than anything, Jayne loved spending time with her family and friends, going on excursions or just hanging around, playing games, and laughing.

She is survived by her loving son: Benjamin Dyer and his wife Carla; her siblings: Judith Demers, Jennifer Dufrensne; her grandson: Cody Dyer; and her companion: Dan Laffan. She was the sister of the late Richard Taylor.
