Jean T. (Gerardi) Borgasano, age 96 of Raynham , passed away on December 2,2020 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Guy Frank Borgasano.
Jean was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Vincenzina (Teresa) Gerardi.
Before retiring in 1986, Mrs. Borgasano was employed as a seamstress with Trimont Clothing in Roxbury. After her retirement she then worked for Shaw’s Grocery Store in Raynham as a cashier .She enjoyed bingo, cards, dancing and going to Foxwoods. Jean was also a proud member of Taunton Triad.
Jean is survived by her loving children; Joseph Borgasano and his wife Barbara of Raynham, James Borgasano and his partner Stanley of San Francisco. Grandmother of Joseph Borgasano, Jr., Derek Borgasano, Barbarajean Lohmar, Fred Lohmar Jr, great-grandmother of Gavin and Griffin Borgasano, Andrea, Fred III, and Raymond Lohmar. She was also the loving mother of the late JoAnn Lohmar and her husband Fred, sister of the late Vincenzo Gerardi, Peter Lombardi, Mary Piaglicco, Rose Jingle, and Theresa Hood. She also leaves her dear friend Barbara Monteiro
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 8:30am with a funeral service to begin at 10:30am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (At Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral Home.
(Facial coverings and social distancing will be required.)
Interment will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
