Jeanette L. (Badger) DeAndrade,75, of East Taunton, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Fernando M. DeAndrade, and the companion of Al Mendonca of Taunton.
Born in Fall River, Ma, she was the daughter of the late William Badger and Stella (Johnson) Badger. In her younger years, Mrs. DeAndrade worked as a piece worker at Corcoran Shoe in Stoughton, Ma. In her later years, she worked as a Team Assistant for Travelers Insurance. Jeanette enjoyed watching television, going out to eat, playing bingo, dancing, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends at gatherings. She enjoyed making everyone laugh and have a good time. She was truly the life of the party.
Mrs. DeAndrade is survived by her daughter, Kimberly M. Wilbur of Taunton; son-in-law, Robert Wilbur; two granddaughters, Alexa and Jasmine Wilbur; along with her other daughter, Misti Severini of New Hampshire; and three grandchildren, Serena Severini, Thomas Andrews, and Joseph Andrews. She leaves behind her siblings William Badger, Jr., Robert Anderson, Jr., Donald Badger, Ronald Badger, Michael Badger, Dennis Badger, Richard Badger, and Helen Bird.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:15 am, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary’s Square) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am, in Holy Family Church, Middleboro Avenue, East Taunton.
Interment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be required during all services.
