Jeannette L. Curran, 88, of Halifax, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, in North Easton. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Curran.

Born in Boston, MA, she was a daughter of the late James Hibbs and Rose (Donato) Hibbs.

Prior to retirement, she worked as a clerk at N.E.M.C.H Employee Credit Union. Her hobbies included crafting, sewing, and making porcelain dolls.

She leaves a loving daughter Rosemarie Curran, of East Taunton; a sister, Rose Curry (late husband, James) of Braintree; two grandchildren, James J. Terruso and Marianne L. (Terruso) Mitnick, and her husband, David; two great grandchildren, David Mitnick, Jr., and Jacqueline Mitnick; and several nieces and nephews. Jeannette was the mother of the late Marianne Curran and sister of the late Mary Ring.

Her funeral and visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 8:30 am, from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary’s Square) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am, in Saint Mary’s Church, 14 Saint Mary’s Square, Taunton. Interment will be in New Calvary Cemetery, Harvard Street, Mattapan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Silva Funeral Home, Taunton.
