Jeffrey Dutra, age 43 of Taunton, a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and cousin, passed away on January 23, 2025, after a long illness at home with his loving family by his side.
Born in Taunton, the beloved son of Maria (DaSilva) Dutra of Taunton, and the late Carlos A. Dutra.
Before his illness, Jeff was employed with Lynch’s Towing as a Truck Operator.
Jeff cherished the time spent and memories made with family, friends and friends that became family. He enjoyed working on his house and truck, listening to music, riding quads with Jeffrey, helping everyone with their house projects, spending time with his grandkids, and family dinners on Sundays.
Although Jeff is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.
Besides his beloved mother Fatima (Maria), Jeff is survived by his loving Children, Jeffrey Dutra of Taunton, Noell Silvia and her husband Jordan of Somerset and Cassadie Salamone of Fall River, brother of Eldar Dutra and his wife Christine of Taunton. Jeff is also survived by grandchildren, Hunter Silvia and Azayla Crossland, two nieces Kaitlyn Almeida-Walker and Mackenze Walker, Godson Greyson Fortuna, cousin & best friend Nelson Fortuna and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 10am in Saint Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Relatives and friends may meet directly at church at 9:30am and park in the rear parking lot of the church.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
