Jeffrey Michael Goncalves, Sr

Jeffrey Michael Goncalves, Sr., age 47 of Fall River and formerly of Sharps Lot Road in Dighton, passed away on May 22, 2019 at Brigham & Woman’s Hospital.

Jeff was born in Fall River, the son of Bette (Ashworth) Goncalves of Dighton and the late George Goncalves.

Before his illness, Jeff was employed with China Royal, Regata Waterfront, Somerset Lodge and many other food chains.

Jeff enjoyed talking to people, he would always light up the room. Having a love for animals In earlier years Jeff became involved in breeding and showing Doberman’s. Jeff had a kind heart and loved his family.

Besides his loving mother Bette, Jeff is survived by his children; Jeffrey Goncalves, Jr and Macayla Friedman both of Fall River, he was the grandfather of Jeffrey Goncalves, III, Eli and Rylee all of Fall River. He was also the brother of Kimberly LaFleur of Plympton. Jeff also leaves his former wife Marcia Moniz also of Fall River.

A celebration of Jeff's life  will be held between the hours of 2 to 5 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2019  in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.

His burial will be held privately.
