Joan C. Davidson (McCarthy) 87, of East Taunton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William H. Davidson. Born in Canton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael E. and Vivian C. (Lincoln) McCarthy. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Mrs. Davidson leaves her children, William Davidson, of Lakeville, Lynne Ducharme, of Cocoa Beach, FL, Debra Davidson, of East Taunton, Donna Davidson, of East Taunton, Robin Davidson, of Lakeville, Barbara Kelly, and her husband, Harold, of Asbury Park, NJ, Scott Davidson, and his wife Kathleen, of Sandwich, Stacy Davidson, of Falmouth, and Eric Davidson, and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, of Middleboro; 14 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by all her siblings. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Joan’s funeral services and interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery will be privately held.
