Joe Harold Terry

Joe H. Terry, 66, of Taunton, formerly of Hughes Springs, TX, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. He was the companion of Karen M. (Enos) Mack, whom he loved very much.

Born in Hughes Springs, TX, he was the son of Peggy (Tate) Terry and the late Harold Terry.

He worked as a union electrician with the I.B.E.W Local Union 301 for many years prior to retirement.

An avid fisherman, he loved spending time with his Karen.

He is survived by his children, Robert Terry, Douglas Terry, and Sharon (Terry) Corchado, all of New York; a brother, Alan Dee Terry, of Hughes Springs, TX, Suzanne Terry Beck, of Texarkana, AR, and Dlorah Terry Carwile, of Houston, TX; a grandchild Oliver Sebastian Joe Corchado, who was just born on December 15, 2018; several nieces and nephews; his dear family in Massachusetts, and his brothers and sisters from Local Union 301.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary’s Square)

Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

Joe’s funeral will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018, from the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, 1213 Hanes Boulevard South, Hughes Springs, TX. Interment will be in Hughes Springs Cemetery, East First Street, Hughes Springs, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joe’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
