TAUNTON - John Andrade, husband of Catherine E. (Rose) Andrade of Taunton, died at Baypointe Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Brockton on Dec. 5, 2011.
He was 80 years old.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (White) Andrade.
Mr. Andrade was raised and educated in Taunton and was 1948 graduate of Taunton High School.
A retired foreman, he was employed by the Mason Box Company for over forty-years, retiring in 1993.
Mr. Andrade will be remembered as an avid sports fan.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, John J. Andrade and his wife Karen of Taunton, and Paul D. Andrade and his wife Cindy of Grand Forks, ND; a daughter, Susan J. Sanson of Taunton; a son-in-law, Michael Sanson of Dighton; a sister, Mary Cole of Taunton; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Justin, Maxx and Brody Andrade, and Lauren and Christopher Sanson.
He was also the brother of the late Albert, Joseph and Helen Andrade.
At the request of the family, Funeral Services will be private.
