John J. Frias, age 84 of Taunton, passed away on December 28, 2017 in Morton Hospital.
John was born in Taunton, a son of the late John and Mary (Vieira) DeFrias.
Mr. Frias served his country for over 20 years with the US Airforce as a Sergeant. John served during both Korea and Vietnam.
In later years, John was employed as an administrator for the Paul A. Dever School. He also enjoyed vacations in Hawaii.
Mr. Frias is survived by his dear friend Robert Rogers, a niece and cousins.
John’s funeral with visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 12 noon in The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a funeral service to begin at 1 pm. Interment with military honors will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
