John Thomas Moore , 57, of Raynham, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 23, 2019 surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was the husband of Michele (Cipriano) Moore. They were married for 11 years.
Born in Somerville, MA he was the son of Patricia Ardizzoni, of Stoughton, and the late John S. Moore.
John served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He worked as a carpenter and contractor for many years. A lover of dogs and all animals, he enjoyed fishing, doing yard work, the ocean and just being outdoors. John loved going on road trips, playing keno and was the biggest fan of John "The Duke" Wayne.
Besides his wife, Michele, he is survived by his three children; his fur babies, Charlie, Sampson, Sunshine, Maximus, and faith; three sisters; a sister and brother in law, many nieces and nephews and mother-in -law, Janice Langton. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary’s Square).
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
John’s funeral will begin on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 9:45 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:45 am, in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton. Interment with military honors will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA at 1:00 pm.
