TAUNTON - John Pacheco, husband of Mary P. Pacheco of Taunton, died at Morton Hospital and Medical Center on Feb. 18, 2013.
He was 87.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Joao and Maria (Costa Belarino) Pacheco.
Mr. Pacheco was employed as a laundry supervisor for the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton, and the former Dever State School in Taunton for many years.
He retired in 1991.
In addition to his wife of forty-five years, he leaves two sons, Edward Pacheco of FL and John Pacheco, Jr. of Cape Cod; a daughter, Patricia Ann Pacheco of Taunton; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services for family only, will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 8:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Family members may gather at the funeral home between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. prior to the funeral mass.
