John J. Reposa, age 65, of Taunton, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at his home in Taunton. He was the companion of Kathy Oliveira of Taunton.
Born in Taunton, he was one of seven children born to the late John R. and Alice F. (Mendoza) Reposa. He grew up in Taunton and attended Taunton Public Schools.
John spent much of his working career as a Truck Driver in the construction industry.
In his spare time, John was an avid outdoorsman, spending time hunting and fishing on the Cape Cod Canal.
John is survived by his children: Jillian Ferris and her spouse Eric of Taunton and John Reposa and his spouse Min Chen of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren: Addison, Harper, and Reese; his siblings: Rose Williams and her spouse Cheryl Robert of Middleboro, Laurie Jones of Panellas Park, FL, and James Reposa of Lakeville; and also many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in passing by his siblings: Cynthia Smith, Beverly Bedard, and Ann McCaffrey.
