Jose S. Araujo, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Oakhill Healthcare.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Peter and Anna (Sousa) Araujo.
Before retirement in 1996, he was employed with Leech and Garner as a Jewelry Melter.
Jose enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family who meant the world to him.
Jose is survived by his sister Deolinda Dos Santos and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Manuel Araujo, John Medeiros, Peter Medeiros, Beatrice Leite and the uncle of the late Johnny Medeiros and Maria Rose Serodeo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 9am in Saint Anthony Church, Taunton. (Relatives and friends may meet directly at church for 8:45am) Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
