Jose G. Moreno, age 50 of Taunton, passed away on July 22, 2025.
He was the husband of Kelly (Curtis) Moreno.
In addition to his wife Kelly of over 29 years, Jose is survived by his daughters, Natalya Moreno and Adara Moreno as well as daughter-in-law, Jessica Moreno all of Taunton, and also by the apple of his eye, his granddaughter, Analaya Moreno-Caraballo.
Jose was the brother of Patricia Moreno, Nestor Moreno, Karen Rodriguez, her husband Bryon, and their son Gabriel.
Born in Bogota, Columbia in October of 1974, Jose was the son of Elvia Corredor and the late Silverio Moreno. Jose migrated to the United States in 1986 at 12 years old.
Jose was a genuine and devoted family man, who took the utmost pride in being a father, grandfather, and dog-dad. He spent his days off helping his family and responding to any requests they had. But his most precious days were the days spent during his cherished grandparent breakfasts and outings with “his girls”.
Jose loved his family more than life and also took incredible honor being a devoted cousin, nephew, and uncle to all who he loved. His friendship always consisted of being caring and compassionate to those around him. He was always dedicated, and would never hesitate to lend a hand to anyone who needed him. He was always dedicated to his profession as a truck driver, and was respected by his peers as a hard worker.
