RAYNHAM - Jose M. Santos, husband of Matilde M. (Moitoso) Santos, died at his Raynham home on April 25, 2015.
He was 72.
Born in Fornos de Algodres, Portugal, he was the son of the late Jose and Maria Conceicao (Morais) Amaro dos Santos.
A veteran of the Portuguese Army, Jose moved to the area in 1966.
A communicant of St. Ann Church in Raynham, he was employed as an electrician by Texas Instruments for 32 years, before retiring in 1999.
In his spare time, Joes enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and quahogging.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Robert Santos of Raynham, and Mark Santos of Taunton; a brother, Leonel Santos of Taunton; a sister, Sara Santos of NJ; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Luis Santos, and Maria L. Almeida.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday May 1st, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Ann Church, Raynham at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 30th, from 5 to 8 p.m.
