BERKLEY - Joshua E. Chaves, son of Alfredo and Pauline (Bresciani) Chaves, died unexpectedly on March 5, 2010.
He was 22.
Born in Stoughton, Joshua lived in Berkley with his family for the past ten years.
A 2006 graduate of Somerset High School, he later attended Bristol Community College.
Joshua enjoyed music, concerts, movies, and spending time with his friends.
An avid sports fan, he was known for his knowledge of teams, players, and sports statistics, and was a communicant of Holy Family Church in East Taunton.
Besides his parents of Berkley, he leaves his paternal grandparents, Manuel A. and Maria Gloria (Braga) Chaves of Taunton; his maternal grandfather, Everett Bresciani of Bridgewater, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was also the maternal grandson of the late Marcelle (Rondeau) Bresciani.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, March 12th at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Holy Family Church, East Taunton at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 11th, from 5 to 8 p.m.
