Judith (Roussin) Firth

d. January 23, 2024

Judith (Judy) Firth, 70, of Middleboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. She shared over 25 years with her husband and soulmate, Harold “Buddy” Firth. Born in Chevy Chase, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Romeo and Dorothy (Trenholme) Roussin. She was employed by the state of Massachusetts, Department of Mental Health, retiring after 30 years. After her retirement she enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, traveling to see family, and spending time with nature. This included her love of feeding the local wildlife and training the Pokemokes to eat out of the palm of her hand. Judy had a feisty personality but to know her was to love her. A breast cancer survivor, she took on her many health challenges with a tenacity and fierceness that is unparallelled. She loved her family above all else and for that we will always be grateful. In addition to her loving husband, Judy is survived by her daughters, Jennifer and her husband Michael Wilbur of Taunton, and Lyn and her husband William (Billy) Garant of Taunton; sons Richard Firth and Harold Firth Jr of Ipswich, England, granddaughter, Amanda Leite and her fiancé James Gomez.  She was also the sister of Carol (husband Hector) Junco, Maureen (husband Kerry) Johnson and Leonard Roussin, and leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Arrangements with Silva Funeral Home were privately held.

Judith's Celebration of Life will be held on March 3rd, 2024 from 9:30am - 12:30pm at the Middleboro Council on Aging, 558 Wareham Street, Middleboro, MA. Donations made in her memory to the American Stroke Association , or the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
