Judith Ann (Hill) Fowler

d. March 11, 2023

Judith Ann (Hill) Fowler, age 80 of Taunton, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Frederick O. Fowler III.

Born in Wareham MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Bumpus) Hill.

“Mom”, “Gram”, “G-Gram”, “Sis”, and “Aunt” were all titles Judy held for so long to loved ones in her family. She loved hard and fierce. She was beyond proud of her kids and beaming with love and pride when it came to her granddaughters and her great grandchildren. Her family was her world. Judy took on her battle with cancer with strength, courage, and determination to gain more time with her family and to watch her two twin great grandsons Tristin & Caleb grow. Judy loved the beach, Shell Point in Onset to be exact, loved family gatherings, never wanted to miss a party, lunches out with friends, going to a theater for a show, opportunities to travel, and loved and lived her life to the fullest.

In addition to all of the family titles she held, perhaps the title of “Mrs Fowler” is where she touched the most lives. “Mrs Fowler” was a preschool teacher at Triumph Inc. Head Start, in Taunton for 42 years. Dedicated, kind, loving, and respectful, “Mrs Fowler” set the bar high for all of the following generations of teachers to aspire to. The families she touched over the decades will always hold a piece of their beloved “Mrs Fowler” with them.

She is survived by her children; Ruth Medeiros and her husband Michael, Pam Caron and her wife Stacey, grandchildren; Nichole Silva and her husband Damien, Michelle Blair- Medeiros and her wife Sara, great- grandchildren; Averie, Tristin and Caleb Silva, brother; Paul Hill. She was the sister of the late Lorraine Wade and the late Darlene Chelmers. Judy is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well great nieces and great nephews.
