Kathleen (McLaughlin) Wilding, age 73 of Raynham, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Morton Hospital. She was the beloved wife for 33 wonderful years to Gilbert “Butch” Wilding, Jr. of Raynham. Born in Watertown, NY, Kathleen was one of eight children born to the late Edward McLaughlin, Sr., and Lila (Bushaw) McLaughlin. For over 30 years, Kathleen worked as a Picker and Packer for Swank Manufacturing in Taunton. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She loved everything about camping and she enjoyed entertaining her friends and family. Besides her husband, Kathleen is survived by her cherished daughters: Linda (Jones) Morgan of Taunton and Joanne (Jones) Lunn and her husband William of Raynham; her step-son: James Wilding of Seattle, Washington her treasured grandchildren: Brenden, Kristen, Andrew, and Trevor; her loving sister: Dianne Castle and her husband Edward of Taunton; and also numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Kathleen is predeceased by her siblings: Edward McLaughlin, Jr., Joseph McLaughlin, Charles, McLaughlin, Rose Oagles, Mary Depot, and Elizabeth Wenzel. Kathleen’s funeral will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 9:00 am with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Pleasant Street Cemetery, Raynham. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 4 pm- 7 pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
