Kathleen “Kit” (Perry) DeMoura, age 80 of Taunton, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Marion Manor with her loving family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert DeMoura.

Kit was born in Dighton the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Dutra).

Before retiring, Mrs. DeMoura was employed for over 45 years with Ad-A-Day.

She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul, she enjoyed spending time with Bobby camping, snowmobiling, bike riding, playing cards and the couples bowling league.

Kit was not only devoted to her husband Bob for over 60 years but was a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews. “Auntie Kit” was always there to help and be involved in every birthday, graduation, wedding, family reunion, party or cookout. She would cook, set up then clean everything after an event without wanting any recognition. She was a kind, loving, selfless woman and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Mrs. DeMoura is survived by her siblings; Elaine M. Rose and husband Tony, Cynthia Correia, Alice Delawrence, Deborah Davis and husband Thomas and Joseph Perry. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 10:00 am in Saint Anthony Church, School Street, Taunton. (Relative and friends may meet directly at church and are required to wear facial coverings.)

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
