TAUNTON - Kenneth P. Corrao, Sr., husband of Gail (Costa) Corrao of Taunton, died unexpectedly at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI on June 23, 2011.
He was 60 years old.
Born in Dorchester, he was the son of Josephine (Micale) Corrao of Raynham and the late Michael Corrao.
Mr. Corrao attended Lowell Technical College after graduating from Coyle High School in 1969.
Employed as a manager for the Norwell Manufacturing Co. for many years, he later co-owned/operated Whittenton Lighting Products, retiring in 1994.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two sons, Kenneth P. "K.C." Corrao, Jr. and his wife Jillian of Taunton, and Matthew M. Corrao of Taunton; two daughters, Jill Balestra and her spouse Terry of Mansfield, and Kristin Corrao of Taunton; two brothers, Michael Corrao of E. Taunton and Paul Corrao of Taunton; six grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Taunton on Tuesday, June 28th at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Ann's Church, Raynham at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 27th from 5 to 8 p.m.
