Kenneth P. “Kenny” Rice, age 60, a longtime Raynham resident, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Stoughton due to complications from a respiratory illness.
Born in Taunton on November 15, 1963, he was the oldest of three sons born to the late William Rice, Jr. and Barbara (Bombardier) Rice.
A hardworking man, Kenny worked for the Raynham Highway Department for many years.
In his spare time, Kenny had a wide variety of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, especially from the 60’s and 70’s. Kenny had an interest in muscle cars and Harley motorcycles and he likes to attend NHRA events.
Kenny is survived by his younger Brother James E. Rice of Taunton; and also many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in passing by his brother: the late Ronald W. Rice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kenny’s Memorial Visiting Hours on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 5pm to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square), Taunton. Additional parking is located on the North side of the funeral home.
A private graveside service will be held in Pleasant Street, Cemetery, Raynham, where Kenny will be laid to rest with his parents.
