BERKLEY - Kristen Lee Romero, daughter of Robert J. and Sharon M. (Valente) Romero of Berkley, died unexpectedly at Norwood Hospital on Jan. 1, 2012.
She was 24 years old.
Born in Newton, she moved with her family to Berkley in 1990, and graduated from Somerset High School in 2005.
Kristen was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Isenberg School of Business at UMASS Amherst, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business.
She was employed as a consultant by Morrissey Goodale AEC Management Solutions of Sherbourne.
In addition to her parents, she leaves two sisters, Anne M. Boscombe and her husband Keith of Sharon, and Julie A. Romero of Berkley; her maternal grandparents, Donald and Margaret (Cashman) Valente of Ellenton, FL; her longtime boyfriend, Aaron Burke of Manchester, NH; her godmother, Janet Romero of Plymouth; her pet Puggle, Macy; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, Jan 7th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Bernard Church, Assonet at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Assonet Burying Ground.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 6th from 5 to 8 p.m.
