Krusty, a beloved companion and the unofficial “manager” of Pet Food Shoppe in Lakeville, passed away on August 26, 2026, at just two years old.

Though her life was far too short, Krusty filled it with more love and personality than could ever be measured. She was much more than a pet. She was a best friend, a constant companion, a coworker, and a familiar face to the many people who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Krusty loved going to work, riding in the car, spending her days alongside her dad, Ken, and overseeing everything happening around the store. Whether she was relaxing in the office, sitting proudly on the printer, greeting customers, or simply keeping Ken company through a long workday, Krusty made the Pet Food Shoppe her second home and earned her nickname, “The Manager.”

She had a way of making ordinary days better simply by being there. Her beautiful green eyes, black coat, little pink collar, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed.

Krusty was loved beyond words by Ken and her family. Losing her has left an enormous space in the lives of those who loved her, but the happiness, comfort, and companionship she gave during her short life will never be forgotten.

Krusty was here for only a little while, but she will be loved for a lifetime.
