Lauraine Spinney (Hamel) 89, of Raynham, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Leonard E. Spinney. Born in Brockton, MA, she worked as a nurse’s aide in Brockton for several years. In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding, roller skating, and ice skating. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, and taking care of those that she loved. Mrs. Spinney is survived by her grandchildren, Renee Bullerwell, Sharon Powers, Jeffery Powers, and Jonathan Powers; eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and a son in law Richard Cutting. She was the mother of the late Debra-Lee Cutting who passed on April 23, 2019. According to her wishes, all funeral services and interment will be private.
