Laurie Teixeira

Laurie (Arruda) Teixeira, age 61 of East Taunton, passed away on March 1, 2026 at Morton Hospital.

Born in Taunton, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Nancy (Aranjo) Arruda, Sr.

Laurie enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach and listening to music.

Laurie is survived by her loving son Ryan Teixeira and his wife Ali of Raynham, her brother Russell Arruda also of Raynham, and Laurie’s companion Kerwin Matthews. She was also the sister of the late Robert Arruda, Jr.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 4pm with a funeral service to beginning at 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
