Lawrence D. Flint, Sr., age 77 of Berkley, passed away on November 26, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Carol (Roman) Flint.
Born in Berkley, he was the son of the late Ellis Flint, Sr, and the late Evelyn (Jones) Westgate.
Mr. Flint was the owner and operator of LDF Trucking, he enjoyed fishing, camping and was devoted to his family.
Besides his beloved wife Carol of over 53 years, he is survived by his loving sons; Lawrence D. Flint, Jr and Stephen Flint both of Berkley. He was the brother of Ellis K. Flint, Jr of Assonet, Evelyn Reynolds, Elaine Jones both of East Taunton, Susan Westgate, Linda Sproul both of Fall River, Marilyn Westgate and Marion Pimental both of Taunton. Lawrence also leaves several nieces and nephews and was the brother of the late George Westgate, Jr, William Flint, Gloria Reynolds and the late Sandra Flint.
Mr. Flint’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 8:30am followed by a service to begin at 9:30am in the chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will follow in Fox Cemetery, Berkley
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home on Monday, December 2nd from 4 to 7pm. (Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.)
