Following a lengthy battle with cancer, Lena Perry of East Taunton passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 59 surrounded by her loving family. Lena was the daughter of the late John Perry Jr. and Caroline (Dias) Perry. Lena loved to dance, sing, watch scary movies, play board games, go to the beach, and tanning. What Lena loved the most was to spend time with her family, pets & granddogs. She had a great love for her dog, Spring. She was a very funny and outgoing person. She was the loving mother of Darnell Perry, Kayla Perry, and Michael Perry all of East Taunton; grandmother of Davonte Perry and Destiny Perry, and great grandmother to Kayden Zavala. Lena was the sister of Yvonne Lopes, Loretta Perry, Martha Perry, John Perry III, Roy Perry, Donald Perry, Roger Perry, Lawrence Perry, Alfred Perry, Bobby Lopes, and Albert Monteiro. Lena was also the sister of the late Joanne Tillman, Arthur Perry, Robert Perry, Troy Perry, Joseph Perry, Carl Perry, Ronald Perry, and Caroline Perry. Her funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 9:00am to 11:00 am, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary’s Square)
Interment will be in the Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be required during all services.
