L. Nicholas Bucci, age 68, passed away on Thursday,
September 17,2020 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 22, 1952 in Biddeford, Maine.
Nick was truly a special guy. He resided for the past 18 years at Wrentham Developmental Center, a caring and loving community.
Nick managed many physical and developmental limitations throughout his life but he faced them with strength and patience. He lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures. His years at WDC forged many special relationships and his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Nick also enjoyed music, Boston sport teams, using his large collection of pens and notebooks, attending any and all social events, and he just loved to wear a good looking shirt and tie. Nick had the ability to impact people he met in a deep and positive way. Nick was an amazing brother and a loyal friend. He had impeccable character and a gentle caring nature. He will be deeply missed.
Nick is preceded in death by his adoring parents Artemis and Leonard Bucci. He is survived by his loving siblings,
Marcus Kim Bucci (Katherine), Lisa Kelleher (Mark), Tina Talanian (Mark), and many nieces and nephews.
Nick’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the outstanding and loving staff at WDC.
Funeral service will be private.
