RAYNHAM- Lorraine (Greco) Lopes, age 93, of Raynham, passed away in the afternoon of Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Life Care Center of Raynham. She was the devoted wife for over 60 years to the late Arnold Lopes, Jr., who passed away in 2017.
Born in Taunton, Lorraine was one of six children born to the late Charles Greco, Sr. and Mary (Fanacone) Greco. She grew up in Taunton and attended Saint Marys School.
For many years, Lorraine worked as an Assembler for Motorola, a company at which she retired from at the age of 62.
In her spare time, Lorraine enjoyed going to play the penny slots at various casinos, especially Foxwoods. She liked to travel and go on vacation and watch her favorite soap operas on TV. Above all, she cherished the time spent and memories made with family.
Lorraine is survived by her cherished daughters: Donna Crane and her husband Timothy and Brenda Steek and her husband Edward; her grandchildren: Walter Mackinnon, Kristen Mackinnon, Kellsey Cormier, and Tyler Steek; her six great-grandchildren; and also her siblings: Robert Greco and Jacqueline Medeiros; and numerous extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine is predeceased by her siblings: Walter Greco, Charles Greco, Jr, Marie Correia, and Jeannette Doucette.
Services along with interment at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Raynham, will be held privately.
