TAUNTON - Lorraine V. (Barboza) Medina, wife of Joseph Medina of Taunton and the late Daniel A. Costa, died at Golden Living Wedgemere on July 14, 2011.
She was 75.
Born in Assonet, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Antoinette (Tibeault) Barboza.
Mrs. Medina was raised and educated in Berkley, moving to Taunton many years ago.
She worked as an office manager for the former Weir Auto Sales and for over 30 years before retiring in 1998.
She was also a homemaker, and dedicated mother and grandmother.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Steven D. Costa of Taunton; two daughters, Terry A. Albertini of East Taunton, and Lorie A. Archer of Taunton; two brothers, Robert and Frank Barboza, both of Assonet; two sisters, Phyllis E. Roy of Taunton, and Antoinette Hanoud of Berkley; three grandchildren, Kara and Eric Albertini and Jillian Archer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Ralph Barboza.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Taunton on Monday, July 18th at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 17th from 5 to 8 p.m.
