Louis F. Costa, age 76 of Pawtucket, passed away on March 23, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Maria (Figueiredo) Brito.
Louis was born in Sao Miguel Azores, the son of the late Jose and Rosalina (Tavares) DaCosta.
Before retiring, Mr. Costa was employed with the Foxboro Company for over 35 years.
He enjoyed fishing, the Boston Bruins and the Red Sox. He especially loved family gatherings and spending time with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and making bird houses for them.
Besides his beloved wife Maria, Mr. Costa is survived by his loving children; Adam Costa and wife Dina of Oxford, MA, Paula Therriault and husband Scott of Portsmouth, RI, Cynthia Durham and husband Joel, Carrie Costa and companion Scott, all of NH, and his step-daughter Jessica Brito of Norton, grandfather of Angela, Zachary, Jeremy, Edward, Jessica, Brandy, Ashleigh, Nathan, Scott, Andrew, Max, Gabi, Isabella, the late Joel and a step-grandson Dante, great-grandfather of Jordyn, Skylynn, Alexander, Demitri, Mia, Jayden, Sophia, Noah, Henry and PJ. Louis was also the brother of Manuel Costa and his partner Joyce of Norton, Ezequiel Costa and wife Mary of Fall River, Norma Lilja of Lakeville, Flavia Jillson and husband Greg of North Attleboro and Nancy Dubois of RI.
Mr. Costa’s funeral with visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 8am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church School Street in Taunton. Interment will be held privately.
During all services, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
