Louise Marie Dias

Louise Marie (LaFreniere) Dias, age 73 of Taunton, passed away at her residence on January 31, 2026 with her loving family by her side.

She was the wife of the late Francis Dias who passed in 2018.

Louise was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Albert E. and Louise (daSilva0 Lafreniere, Sr.

Before retiring, Mrs. Dias was employed as a jewelry assembler for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and going to yard sales. Louise enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she was a kind person who would help anyone in need, she will be missed by many.

Louise is survived by her loving son Keith Dias and his wife Jennifer of Taunton, their children Rebecca White, Jon Pilling and his wife Heidi, a step-son Frank Dias of OK and a niece Jessica Ferris as well as many more nieces and nephews. Louise is also the sister of Edward LaFreniere, Albert LaFreniere, Jr, Daniel LaFreniere, Judith Ferris, Suzanne LaFreniere and Janine LaFreniere, she was also the sister of the late Robert Silvia, Scott, Richard, Walter, Louis, Jimmy and Francis LaFreniere.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 10am in Christ Community Church 41 Stevens St, East Taunton, MA 02718 .

Interment will be held privately with her husband in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.

Arrangements are with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
