Luiz Carlos Pacheco

TAUNTON - Luiz Carlos Pacheco of Taunton, 52, died unexpectedly at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro on Aug. 24, 2010.
He was the husband of Brenda L. (Parker) Pacheco, to whom he was married for the past 31 years.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he was the son of Jose M. and Altina (Bulhoes) Pacheco.
He moved to U.S. with his family at the age of twelve, settling in Taunton, where he attended Taunton schools and graduated from Taunton High School in 1977.
Mr. Pacheco was a supervisor employed by the R.W. Bryant Co. of Plymouth, where he worked for many years.
He was a communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and enjoyed golfing, camping, and playing soccer with the Taunton Eagles and Academy of Fall River teams.
Besides his wife and parents, all of Taunton, he leaves two sons, Leon R. and Aaron S. Pacheco, both of Taunton; three sisters, Theresa Chapman of Seekonk, Deolinda dos Anjos of Bristol, RI and Maria "Cida" Moniz of Taunton; two brothers, Jose O. Pacheco of Taunton, and Renato Pacheco of Brockton; a grandson, Austin M. Pacheco; his in-laws Leon and Barbara (Quagan) Parker of Taunton; many nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
He was also the brother of the late Januario and Aurelio Pacheco.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, on Saturday Aug. 28th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday Aug. 27th from 5 to 8 p.m.
