Lydia M. (Correia) Moniz, age 93 of Taunton, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Moniz.
Lydia was born in Norton, a daughter of the late John and Rose (Loretto) Correia.
Lydia enjoyed arts & crafts, sewing, reading a good mystery novel, word searches and watching Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right. She had a beautiful smile and is known for her calm demeanor and ever constant happy nature.
Mrs. Moniz is survived by her loving children; James E. Moniz of Bethlehem, PA, David J. Moniz and wife Susan of Falmouth, Karen R. Cordeiro and husband Richard of Taunton. She also leaves a brother Anthony Correia and wife Abreau of Grants Pass, OR; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Lydia was the mother of the late Michael J. Moniz.
