TAUNTON - Manuel Rebello, husband of Rosemary (Parks) Rebello of Taunton, died at Morton Hospital & Medical Center on Feb. 13, 2012.
He was 83.
Born, raised and educated in Taunton, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maisie (Silvia) Rebello.
A retired foreman, Mr. Rebello worked for the Taunton Water Department for twenty-seven years.
He was a communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, and member of the Portuguese American Civic Club and Old Colony Gun Club.
An Army Veteran of WWII, Mr. Rebello enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Besides his wife, he leaves two brothers, Jack Rebello of East Taunton, and George Rebello of North Dighton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Mary Briggs.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church on Thursday, Feb. 16th at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
