TAUNTON - Marcelle L. (Cefail) St. Onge, wife of John J. St. Onge, Sr. of Raynham, died at Golden Living Center Wedgemere of Taunton on September 1, 2014.
She was 79.
Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Elnora (Poulan) Cefail.
For many years Marcelle was employed as a barmaid with the Hotel Thomas Restaurant of Rockland.
She was a cat lover and took in many rescue cats for years.
She also enjoyed playing bingo.
In addition to her husband she leaves a son, John J. St. Onge, Jr. of Raynham; three daughters, Donna Killory and her husband Joe of FL, Lisa Gomes and her husband Nelson of Attleboro, and Lori Aleixo of Taunton; three grandchildren, Jaclyn Lund, Jennifer Huff, Mathew Killory; and three great grandchildren, Nathan Tolley, Abigail Huff, and Addison Lund.
She was also sister of the late Robert E. and Gordon Cefail.
A memorial service will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton, on Saturday, September 6th at 3 p.m.
A gathering, to which family and friends are invited, will be held at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m., prior to the memorial service.
