Margaret (Goulet) Mello, age 75 of Vero Beach FL and formerly of Taunton, passed away on June 2, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic in Vero Beach with her loving husband, son and daughter in law by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Henry Mello.
Margaret was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Antoine and Sophie ( Mattos) Goulet.
Before retiring, Margaret was employed with Whilshire Manufacturing as an accounts receivable agent for many years.
She enjoyed reading, going to the movies and out for dinner, and beignets but most of all she cherished time spent with her family.
Besides her beloved husband Henry of over 54 years, she is survived by her loving son Jaime Mello and his wife Heidi of Dighton, MA. Grandmother of Nathan Mello, Lauren Mello, Grace Tremblay, and Emelia Tremblay. Margaret also leaves behind her adored in-laws Francis and Joan Mello of Attleboro, MA, Virginia Mello of Assonet, MA, and Anna Mello of Tucson, AZ. She was also the sister of the late Michael Goulet.
Mrs. Mello’s funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church 31 School Street, Taunton.
Immediately after Mass, the Mello family has extended a cordial invitation for all to join them in Saint Anthony parish hall for a luncheon.
Interment will be privately held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
