Maria E. (Patricio) Almeida, age 88 of Taunton, passed away on March 27, 2020 at Marian Manor.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jaime F. Almeida.
Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria(Patricio) Patricio.
Before retiring, Mrs. Almeida was employed with Reed & Barton as a polisher for many years. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors, but most of all she was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family.
She is the loving mother of Mary Rodrigues, Alda Aguiar both of Taunton and Gabriella Rosario of North Carolina, grandmother of 8, great-grandmother of 11. She was also the sister of Maria dos Anjos of Taunton.
Private services are being held with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
