Maria (Bettencourt) Carvalho, age 80 of Raynham, passed away at Life Care Center in Raynham on July 13, 2022 with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Norberto M. Carvalho, who passed away one year ago.
Born in Sao Miguel , Azores the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Gonsalves) Bettencourt.
Before retiring, Mrs. Carvalho was employed with Texas Instruments for many years.
Mrs. Carvalho enjoyed talking on the phone, cooking and loved her family dearly.
Mrs. Carvalho is survived by his two loving sons; Antonio M. Carvalho and his wife Ida Tome and Gualberto Carvalho and his wife Sue both of Taunton. She was the grandmother of Emma, Ashton, Katelyn and Ryan, great-grandmother of Colton and the sister of Maria L. Andrade of FL, she was also leaves her grand-dog Brady. She was also the sister of the late John Bettencourt.
Maria’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial 10am in Saint Ann Church North Main St, Raynham. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 18th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
