Maria F. (Pacheco) Furtado, age 75 of Taunton, passed away on March 4, 2025 at Regal Care of Taunton with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donaldo Furtado who passed in 1983.
Maria was born in Santa Maria, Azores, the daughter of the late Jaime and Maria (Medeiros) Pacheco.
Before retiring, Maria was employed with Courtyard Marriott as a housekeeper. Prior to that she was she employed at Arley Mfg. until they closed.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, knitting and Dunkin.
Maria is survived by her loving children, Victor Furtado and his wife Michelle, Lorena Furtado, and Donaldo Furtado her grandchildren Christopher, Lindsay, Alexis and Kayley, great grandchildren Owen and Bryce. As well as her siblings Antonio Mederios, Edwardo Mederios, Maria Jose Furtado.
Maria Fatima was predeceased by her siblings Maria DeMelo, Jose Mederios, Francisco Mederios, Inez Bolerio, Jamie Pacheco and her granddaughter Katarina Furtado.
Mrs. Furtado’s funeral and burial will be held in Sao Miguel for a burial with her late husband.
