Maria (Enacio) Fagundes, age 86 of Taunton, passed away on February 11, 2018 in her home with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Lourenco Fagundes who passed away in August of 2016.
Maria was born in Terceira Azores, a daughter of the late Joao and Adelina (Cabral) Fagundes.
Before retirement, Mrs. Fagundes was employed with Swank Manufacturing Co for many years. Maria cherished time spent with her family.
She was the loving mother of ManueL Fagundes, Maria E. Fagundes, Maria F. DaRocha all of Taunton, Lucia Ribeiro and Maria M. Fagundes both of Fall River. She was the grandmother of 16, great-grandmother of 26 . She is the sister of Joao Teixeira, Francisco Enacio, Evangelina Ferreira all of the Azores and Laurette Gonzanga of Taunton.Maria was also the great- grandmother of the late Alexia and Alia Fagundes.
Mrs. Fagundes funeral with visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 8 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church School St. in Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
