Before retiring, Maria worked for many years at the Nabisco Company, where she was known for her strong work ethic and reliability. Above all else, Maria was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life centered around caring for others. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren Jillian and Aaron, she took great pride in nurturing those she loved. In addition to her immediate family, Maria was a cherished Vavó to Addison, Jase, Blake and Lexi who loved her dearly and considered her their grandmother in every sense of the word. She welcomed them with open arms and an open heart, offering the same unconditional love and warmth, that defined her role as Vavó. Maria had a deep love for animals and found great joy in caring for them. She also enjoyed growing plants, finding peace and fulfillment in watching things grow under her care.
