TAUNTON - Maria Fernanda (Ribeiro) Miller, the wife of James D. Miller, died at her Taunton home on July 21, 2010. She was 66.
Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Adamastor and Amelia (Brandao) Ribeiro.
Educated in Portugal and in the United States, she moved to the area in 1960.
Mrs. Miller, a retired bank manager, worked most recently for Webster Bank in Stoughton, having been employed in the banking industry for over 34 years.
She was a communicant of St. Nicholas of Myra Church in North Dighton.
Besides her husband of Taunton, she leaves a son, Nicholas James Miller of Taunton; a daughter, Danielle Alicia Miller of New Bedford; a sister, Grace Gonet of Somerset; an aunt, Eleuzinda Albuquerque of Aveiro, Portugal; and a nephew, Marc Gerald Lima of Somerset.
Her funeral will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway in Taunton on Monday, July 26th at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Nicholas of Myra Church, North Dighton at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 25th from 4 to 7 p.m.
